Deborah Jean Yost, 64, of Clendenin, West Virginia, passed away on July 31, 2026, at home following a long illness.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Steven Dale Yost, in 2023, her mother, Patsy Sue Shafer, stepfather, Ben D. Shafer, brothers, Curtis Wayne Adkins and Mark Anthony Adkins.
She is survived by her daughter, Stephanie S. Yost of Clendenin, son, Christopher D. Yost, of New Jersey, daughter in law, Michelle Meredith (Billy) of Elkview, grandsons, Hayden D. Yost and Coalton A. Yost, and her special nephew, Travis W. Adkins (Cyndi) of North Carolina.
Deborah was a devoted wife, a love mother and a very proud grandmother. She enjoyed doing anything that involved spending time with her family.
A funeral service will be held Friday, August 7, 2026, at 12:00 p.m., at Stump-Matics Funeral Home, 8539 Elk River Road North, Clendenin, WV, with Pastor Stewart Cottrell officiating. Visitation will be
