Stella Mae Thomas, 77, of Cabin Creek passed away August 3, 2026, at Marmet Healthcare Center after a long illness.
She was a retired insurance representative for CAMC Hospitals in the Behavioral Medicine Department and a member of Dry Branch Independent Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing and crocheting and loved to cook and garden.
Preceding her in death were her sisters, Gena Kitchen, Wanda George; brother, Kermit Seagraves and parents, James and Marion Freeman Seagraves.
Surviving are her husband of 58 years, Billy C. ‘Curt’ Thomas; sons, Jason Thomas (Crystal) of Chesapeake, Eric Thomas (Keri) of Belle, Bradley Thomas (Teri) of Dawes; daughter, Tracy Thomas Adkins of Cabin Creek; brother, Jimmy Seagraves (Janet); sisters, Phyllis Kealer (Louis), Margaret Martin (Emil), Sandra Burdette (Danny); grandchildren, Chris, Logan, Maddie, Jonathan, Ashlyn, Kailey, Wyatt, Michael and five great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at Fidler and Frame Funeral Home, Belle with Pastor Herman Freeman officiating. Interment will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, August 6, 2026, in Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens, Glasgow. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time at the funeral home on Wednesday.
