Minnie Kay Winter, 84, of Nitro passed away August 17th, 2026, at home after a short illness.
Kay was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Carl E. Winter, her parents Claude D. Drake and Bonnie M. Drake, her sister Peggy Easter, nephew Randy Easter, and grandson Cody Drake Conrad.
Left here on earth to cherish her memory, her daughter whom she loved dearly, Penny Conrad and her husband Earl of Nitro, grandson, and the light of her life, Josh Conrad, and his wife Karri of Red House, four great granddaughters who were the greatest joys of her life, Hannah Bragg of Cross Lanes, Isabella Light of St. Albans, Kylie, and Harper Conrad of Red House. Her siblings and their spouses Harry Drake of Glenville, CD Drake of Glenville, Sandy Kelley of North Carolina, and Robin Jones of Point Pleasant, along with a host of nieces and nephews who she loved beyond measure.
In accordance with Kay’s wishes, there will be no public services held.
