Special sister-in-law and brother-in -law, Martha and Tom Presutti, several nieces and nephews, as well as special friends Jeff and Cindy Richardson, Ashley Bennet and EC Brown.
Mark was predeceased by his parents, Charles W. Peyton and Teresa Flor.
Mark was a very caring and loving man who never really met a stranger. He had an infectious laugh and charming smile. If you truly knew Mark, you saw this. Through all his health issues, never once did he complain or ask, “why me”, he just powered through each time and worked at getting healthy again.
Special thanks to Roshannah Peters, who was not only his caregiver but became a very good friend to Mark. Thanks also to Colton Whittington for his efforts in helping Mark regain his physical strength and being a good friend; Dr. Witt Durden for his dedication and care for Mark during his many healthcare setbacks and for always answering the call no matter the time of day; the team at Advanced Physical Therapy for working so hard to help Mark each week regain his strength; the NSICU team at General Hospital for caring for Mark and showing kindness to his family and special friends during this difficult time. To the many others who helped take care of Mark over the years, thank you.
Funeral service will be Saturday, October 17, 2026. 2:00pm, at First Baptist Church, Sixth Avenue and Second Street, St. Albans, WV, Rev. Joel Harpold officiant. Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00pm prior to service. Interment will be Tuesday, October 20, 2026, 12:30pm, Oak Hill Cemetery, 11200 Princeton Pike, Cincinnati, OH.
Rest easy my love, and until we are together again. May God hold you in the palm of His hand and know that I will always love you.
