Randall Mitchell “Randy” Sparks, 61, of Winfield, passed away Saturday, October 31, 2026, at St. Mary’s Medical Center.
Randy was a graduate of Winfield High School and worked as a truck driver. A proud United States Marine Corps veteran, he carried with him a heart of gold and a kindness that touched those around him. He was known for his exceptional memory, his love of cooking, and his ability to bring people together through good food and fellowship. Above all, Randy will be remembered for his generous heart and the love he had for his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Lola Sparks; and his sisters, Linda Elliott and Carolyn Sue Jones.
Those left to cherish his memory include his two sons, Brandon Sparks and Corey Sparks, and their mother, Cathy Ferrell; his brother, Jay (Cathi) Sparks; his sisters, Brenda Smith and Sandy (Stan) Panezich; and a host of grandchildren who will carry his memory in their hearts.
At this time, there will be no services.
Randy will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His memory, kindness, and heart of gold will live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
