Terri Lynn Cobb (Hooser), 57, of Clendenin, West Virginia, passed away on October 21, 2026, surrounded by love.
Born on September 21, 1969, Terri spent her younger years in Sandyville, West Virginia, before making her home in Clendenin, where she built a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and countless memories.
Terri lived a life full of adventure and experiences. Once a whitewater rafting guide, she had a love for life’s adventures and the beauty the world had to offer. She especially enjoyed going on car rides, taking in the scenery, and appreciating the little things that made life beautiful.
Alongside her husband of 27 years, Charlie Cobb, Terri built a life she was incredibly proud of. Together, they established a successful business that became one of her proudest accomplishments. She took great pride in everything they had worked so hard to achieve, knowing that what they built together was a reflection of their dedication, determination, and partnership throughout the years.
Terri was known for her spunky personality, quick wit, and ability to bring a smile to the faces of those around her. She was a loyal friend, someone who offered some of the best advice, and a woman whose presence could brighten even the darkest days. Those fortunate enough to know her knew that behind her humor and spirited personality was a deeply loving heart.
Throughout her life, Terri faced challenges with courage and determination. Even during a silent battle with illness, she held on to hope and fought with everything she had. But her illness was only a small part of her story. Her life was so much more than the battles she faced. It was filled with adventure, accomplishments, laughter, and love.
Above all, Terri cherished her family. She shared 27 years of marriage with her husband, Charlie, who stood beside her through life’s many chapters. She was a mother to her daughter, Megan Ross, and her son, Dallas Clark, and a grandmother to Aedan and Riley Ross, whom she loved dearly. Her family was an important part of the life she treasured.
Terri is survived by her loving husband, Charlie Cobb; her daughter, Megan Ross; her son, Dallas Clark; her grandchildren, Aedan and Riley Ross; her brother, Gary Easter; and her beloved dog, Queenie.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Geraldine Hooser, and her grandmother, Marie Easter.
Terri would not want to be remembered for the illness that took her, but for the life she lived. She would want those who knew her to remember her spunky personality, her wit, her laughter, and the love she gave so freely.
Though her presence will be deeply missed, her memory will live on in the stories shared, the laughter remembered, and the hearts of everyone she loved and who loved her in return.
No public services are scheduled at this time.
