Brenda Mullins

Brenda L. Mullins, 73, of Clendenin, West Virginia, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, Ohio.

She was born May 28, 1952, at Charleston, WV, a daughter of the late Jack and Georgia Taylor Roush.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by grandson Robbie Simmons, brother-in-law Ernest Mullins, and nephew Matt Mullins.

Brenda was the oldest of nine children and she helped raise her siblings. Brenda loved her family immensely. She enjoyed being outdoors especially gardening, and tending her flowers and chickens.

She is survived by husband Harley Mullins; children David (Melissa) Roush of Clendenin, WV and Shane (Tracy) Roush all of Clendenin; Katrina Roush of Charleston; and Misty (Robert) Simmons of Clay; grandchildren Cody Roush, Cory Roush, Luke Booher, Logan Roush, Rebecca (Andrew) Owens, and Dalton Roush all of Clendenin; Hali Simmons, Daniel Simmons, and Gary Simmons all of Clay; and Alexis Elliott, Nathan Blackwell, and Sarah Blackwell all of Roane County; great-grandchildren Brayden Roush and McKinleigh Owens both of Clendenin and Ella Booher of Florida; Ares Blackwell, Persephone Blackwell, and Malachi Blackwell all of Roane County; and Olivia Spangler, Kalilah Spangler, and Aliza Spangler all of Clay; siblings Jack (Pam) Roush, Bo Roush, Joe Roush, Sherry Mullins, and Sue Richard all of Clendenin; John Roush of Roane County; Tiny Smith of Belmont; and Kathy Eckes of Clay; and several nieces and nephews.

Brenda will be laid to rest at the Roush Cemetery with a private family service. Stump-Matics Funeral Home, 8539 Elk River Road North, Clendenin, WV, is honored to serve the Mullins family. Online condolences can be shared with the family at www.stumpfuneralhomes.com
