Misty Rose Williams, 40, of Dunbar, passed away Monday, April 13, 2026.
Misty was born June 6, 1985, in South Charleston, West Virginia. She was an employee of the Nitro Walmart and a former employee of the Southridge Home Depot. Misty enjoyed camping and fishing, but above all, she cherished the time she spent with her children, who were the center of her life.
She was preceded in death by her father, Vaughan Williams; her grandparents, Gary and Bonnie Eagle; and Ernest and Betty Williams.
Misty is survived by her loving mother, Doris Williams; her six children, Joseph Lee Williams, Larry Joe Williams, Cadey Williams, Brenton Scott Williams, Kiran Richard Richmond, and Olivia Grace Richmond; and her two brothers, Dennis (Melissa) Williams and Ernest (Beth) Williams.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to the funeral home to help cover funeral expenses.
A tribute to Misty’s life will be held at 7:00 PM on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at Gatens-Harding Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor B. J. Roberts officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
