Clifton Wallace “Kip” Galloway III, 65, of Hedgesville, West Virginia, passed away on April 14, 2026. Born on May 15, 1960, in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of Mary Theresa Galloway and the late Clifton Wallace Galloway Jr.

Kip graduated from Cardinal Gibbons High School in 1978 and went on to build a distinguished 45-year career as a master diesel mechanic, including 35 years with Ryder Transportation. He earned deep respect for his skill, dedication, and strong work ethic. In 1984, he married his beloved wife, Sandy, beginning a lifelong partnership marked by devotion and shared adventures.

He was a proud and devoted father to his sons, Brian and Joseph, and a loving “Poppy” to his cherished grandchildren, Ava and Brock. Family was at the center of Kip’s life, and he found his greatest joy in the time spent with them.

Kip had a deep passion for anything with a motor, especially his many Harley’s and the hot rods he owned over the years. He enjoyed traveling, hiking, and simple pleasures like breakfast at Cracker Barrel. Some of his happiest moments were spent on the open road, riding with Sandy. He was an avid fan of the Ravens, Orioles, and Salisbury University football.

Kip was preceded in death by his father, Jack. He is survived by his loving mother, Theresa; his devoted wife, Sandy; his sons, Brian and Joseph; and his beloved grandchildren, Ava and Brock. He is also survived by many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Kip will be remembered for his hard work, his love of family, and his passion for life. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
