Arlie W. Rucker 85, of Pond Gap, WV passed away Sunday June 7th, 2026, at home after a long illness.
Arlie was a retired coal miner with 23 years of service in the coal mines. Arlie was a loving husband of 58 years and a great father, grandfather, and great grandfather.
Surviving, wife, Priscilla (Adkins) Rucker; son, Paul Rucker; daughter, Kimberly Jones (Forrest); grandchildren, Adrienne Dickerson (Brandon), Shawn and Eric Rucker, Stephanie Adkins (Shawn), Nickolas Jones (Brittany), Austin Jones; great grandchildren, Callen, Finley, and Evelina Dickerson, Dalton and Parker Childers, Peyton Adkins, and Remington and Emaline Jones; sister Ruth Richmond; brother, Kenneth Rucker (Naomi), and a host of other family members and friends.
Services will be Thursday, June 11th, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Cooke Funeral Home Chapel 600 Old Fort St. Cedar Grove, WV 25039 with Pastor Toney Rucker Officiating. Visitation will be 1-Hour prior to the Services at the Funeral Home on Thursday. Burial will follow the Services in the Balser Cemetery Pond Gap, WV.
