Ann Perry Koerber passed away peacefully on July 26, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.
Ann was the beloved wife of the late David Koerber, with whom she shared 50 years of marriage. She is survived by her loving son, Jonathan Koerber, and his wife, Amber; her daughter, Jennifer Koerber; her cherished grandchildren, Eric Koerber and his wife, Sarah, Zoey and Violet Gilroy; bonus grand girls, Stevi and Ashby, who held a special place in her heart; her beloved nieces, Jayne Morrell, Miranda Dial, Beth McDevitt, and Alyssa Koerber; her nephew, Matthew Koerber; along with their families.
Ann was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, cherished aunt, and dear friend to so many. To those who loved her most, she was simply Nana, Mom, and Auntie—roles she treasured and embraced with all her heart.
Ann found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved Christmas trees, a warm cup of tea, cats, and well-loved books.
Throughout her life, Ann lived in many different places, yet she had a special gift for making each one feel like home. She took great pride in decorating every house with her own unique style, creating warm, welcoming spaces that reflected her personality and made each one unmistakably hers.
She was a gracious hostess who delighted in welcoming family and friends, especially during the Christmas season. Her Christmas teas became cherished traditions that brought loved ones together year after year.
Her memory will live on in the traditions she created, the homes she made, and the love she shared with all who knew her.
In keeping with her wishes, there will be no public visitation or funeral service. Her family will honor her life privately.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to Hospice of West Virginia in Ann’s memory.
