Joyce Andruzis, 68, passed away on January 14, 2026, surrounded by love and leaving behind a legacy of kindness, compassion, and unwavering optimism.

Born on August 31, 1957, Joyce embraced life fully and found joy in even its simplest moments. She had a rare ability to see the positive in any situation, a gift that lifted the spirits of everyone who knew her. Her warmth and gentle nature made people feel seen, valued, and deeply cared for.

Joyce was a dedicated and valued member of the Bailey & Glasser law firm, where she was respected for her strong work ethic and commitment. Beyond her professional life, she was an avid reader who could often be found with a book in hand, happily lost in a story. She also had a deep love for animals and showed kindness to every creature she encountered.

Above all else, Joyce was a devoted mother to her sons, Matt and Steven, who were the greatest joys of her life. She was a loving and proud grandmother to Ryder, Warren, and Allison Andruzis, who were the light of her world. She cared and loved her sister Karen and was her caregiver for many years. Joyce was deeply cherished by her family, whose love for her was constant and profound, and she took great pride in the close bond they shared.

Joyce will be remembered not only for her gentle spirit and love of literature, but also for how deeply she loved—and was loved by—her family. Her kindness, optimism, and unwavering love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

She is survived by her sister Karen, sons Matthew & Steven, grandsons Ryder & Warren (Matt) Granddaughter Allison (Steven) her nieces Jennifer Pauley , Jacqueline Andruzis (Chad) , nephews Andrew (Jodie) & Jason (Chrissy) Andruzis as well as their children Avery, Lilly, Addy, River, Waylon, and Wesleigh. She is preceded in death by her parents Eleanor & Stanley Andruzis. Sister Linda, and brothers David and Stanley “Andy” Andruzis.

In lieu of flowers she would like donations made to the Kanawha or Putnam animal shelters.
