Connie Jo Withrow Devore, 65, of Dunbar, formerly of Hometown, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Saturday morning, January 24, 2026, at her home.
Connie was born on January 22, 1961, and was raised in Hometown, where she attended Poca High School. She spent many years as a talented and well-loved hairdresser throughout the Kanawha Valley, a career that allowed her to connect with others and bring confidence and joy to those she served.
A devoted Christian, Connie lived her life grounded in faith, holding firmly to the promise of salvation and the blessed hope it brings. Her faith was the foundation of her life and the greatest comfort to those who loved her.
Connie cherished time with her family and found great happiness at the beach, where she loved the peace, beauty, and memories made there. She will be remembered for her loving heart, gentle spirit, and the closeness she shared with those dear to her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Reverend Jack and JoEllen Withrow, and her sister, Julie Ann Bonnett (Bob). She leaves behind her brothers, Jack and wife Rose Withrow and Rick and wife Barbie Withrow; her beloved niece and nephew, Katie and Robbie Bonnett, to whom she was especially close; and her cousin, Danny Pauley.
At this time, no services are scheduled.
