McKade Cash Swearingen, 10 months old, of St. Albans went to be with Jesus on February 23, 2026.
Though his time here was far too short, McKade filled every single day with a lifetime of love. He was the happiest baby, and his sweet smile could light up any room. His joy was truly contagious — he was our sunshine.
McKade loved the simple things that made life beautiful. He loved his cheese puffs, splashing and giggling at bath time, and sitting by the fire with his Pappy. One of his favorite sounds was his mama singing “Jesus Loves Me” and the ABC’s to him. He enjoyed watching Paw Patrol and Mickey Mouse, and he could happily play with his blocks for hours. Every coo, every laugh, and every tiny hug was a gift to those who loved him.
He is preceded in death by his great grandmother, Harriet Swearingen.
Left to cherish his precious memory are his loving mother, McKenzie Swearingen; grandparents, Brian and Amy Swearingen; aunt, Kalie (Garrett) Swearingen; great grandparents, Randy and Sue Stanley, and Ron and Kay Swearingen; along with a host of other family and friends who adored him beyond measure.
Private services will be held.
