Bradley Earl Hall, 61, of Nitro, passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at CAMC Memorial Select Specialty Hospital, Charleston, WV.

He was the only son of E. Robert Hall and Mary Lois Angell Hall of Nitro, loving brother of Lois Ann Hall and her husband Dr. Thomas Krulewski of Lancaster, PA. “Uncle Brad” to Cameron Krulewski of Halifax, Nova Scotia and Campbell Mercer Krulewski attending college in Munich, Germany, He was blessed with four Uncles whom he called his good friends, four Aunts, and thirteen cousins whom he also cared for dearly.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Carl H. Angell, Sr. and Mabel Wears Angell and Isaac “Jumbo” Hall and Ethel Hoffman Hall.

He was a 1982 graduate of Nitro High School and attended WV State University. Brad was a member of several chess clubs, a collector of special comic books, many rare stamps, and a Jeopardy fan for many years who answered many of the questions before the actual contestants. Brad was exposed to music from an early age especially by his Mother and her family. Brad worked at several jobs during his career including Chilton Research, TNS, WV State Tax Department, his own Photography Studio, and Ticket Master.

He was born naturally curious and adventurous, so much so that on Bridge Day, he jumped off the New River Gorge Bridge, without his parents knowing about it, but it really wasn’t that much of a surprise.

Brad was born with auto immune issues but still maintained a busy life early on with family and friends. He was known for his wit, intellect, observations of worldly issues, avid reader, and pleasing personality. As a child and even later in life he was his mother and sister’s constant companion, and they attended many events together.

Later, traveling to Florida to visit his friend Alan Osbourne and wife, returning rejuvenated and full of happiness.

Brad loved his Dad with whom he rode “shotgun” on all their many trips to everywhere. Bob will miss Brad hollering at him “hey Dad you need to come see this” all the time.

We were so fortunate by having such a special son whose love and inspiration brought true joy into our lives. We will forever miss everything about him, just his very presence blessed us.

The family wants to extend a special thank you to the Doctors and Staff at CAMC Select Specialty Hospital for their compassionate care of Brad. They all became so close to Brad and told him and his parents how much they loved him.

Brad was so special to his parents and to all his friends that knew and loved him.

A Memorial Celebration of Brad’s life will be held in the near future.
