Charles Eugene Kennedy
Charles Eugene Kennedy, 86, of Clendenin went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at CAMC General Hospital.
Charles was someone who found joy in the simple things in life. He found enjoyment in shooting rifles, and in building birdhouses, a craft that reflected his skillful hands and quiet creativity. He spent much of his time outdoors, finding peace in the work he did and hobbies he loved. Charles worked on the pipeline and was a member of Pipeline Local Union 798. Charles loved his family and being with them, he will be missed by all that knew him.
He is preceded in death by his wife Delores Kennedy; stepdaughter, Beverly Liddle; siblings, Roy Ray Armstead, Jr. (Mary), Mildred Marie Lyons (Frank), Phyllis Jean Bailey (Lowell), Carolyn Ann Snow (Bill), Wanda Mae Beatley (Paul).
Charles leaves behind his brother, Ronald Kennedy (Donna), along with several nieces and nephews.
Per Charles wishes there will be no services.
