Nancy Lee Stover
Nancy Lee Stover, 81, of Charleston passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 29, 2026. She was born on April 20, 1945, to the late Luther Stover and Jessie Hudson Stover.
Nancy graduated from Elkview High School in 1962. She spent over 30 years as a lab technician at various hospitals.
She loved doing yard work and traveling. She had a group of cousins that she traveled and had dinners with. She was an avid seamstress making quilts and handbags for her family and friends. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Loving when the “littles” would come and spend the weekend with her, so she could spoil and pamper them. Nancy was an avid Cincinnati Reds fan.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, William Stover, and sister, Pamela Lanham.
Left to cherish her memory is her sister, Denise “Shelly” Haddox and nieces and nephews, Samantha (Matt) Carnefix and Emily (Chase) Black and Adam Haddox. Great nieces and nephews Savannah and Josie Moore and Lincoln and Simon Black. Special aunt, Margaret Ann (Hudson) Abbott.
Funeral service will be held Monday, June 1, 2026, at 5pm at Hafer Funeral Home. Nancy’s wishes were for family and friends to speak about memories at her service.
Visitation will be 4pm to 5pm on Monday, June 1, 2026.
There will be a private burial service.
