Connie Morris, 71 of Pinch, passed away on August 16, 2026 at Hospice Hubbard House. Cancer was the villain.
Connie was born in Charleston, WV to her parents, Robert “Ikey” and Arbutus “Boots” Morris.
Connie is preceded in death by her parents; Robert “Ikey” and Arbutus “Boots” Morris. Her Paternal grandparents, Ernest “Sprout” and Mable Morris and Maternal grandmother, Opal Cole. She was also preceded in death by her brother-in-law, David “Squirrel” Bird.
Connie is survived by her sisters; Barbara Spradling and her husband Nelson, with whom she made her home the last few months and Pamela Bird.
Connie is also survived by her nephew, Michael McFarland (Jennifer) and her great niece, Payton McFarland and great nephew, Zachary Bess.
Connie and her family wish to give special thanks to the Hospice Care Team; Gina, Leah and Amber for the care and support they provided to Connie.
At Connie’s request there will be no services at this time.
