Manuel Everett Keaton, 82, went to be with the Lord on September 13, 2026, at his home in FL, after a sudden illness.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Russell & Mary Keeten; brothers, Frank Keeten, William R. Keeten, James Edward Keeten, and Rex Allen Keeten; and sisters, Emma Wiler Keeten, Myrtle Jayne Keeten, and Frances Julia Keeten.
Everett was a loving son, husband, father, and grandfather. He was a Christian and loved spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren.
He is survived wife, Myrtle Holton Keaton; daughters, Patty Ann Miller and Joyce Ann Meadows; sisters, Norma Seabolt (Gary) of Elkview, Sylvia Ashby Sigmon of Sissonville, and Violet Estep (Gary) of Blue Creek; and four grandchildren.
A service will begin 2:00pm, on Monday, September 21, 2026, at Hafer Funeral Home, with Pastor Terry Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Keeten Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1:00pm – 2:00pm at the funeral home.
