Robert “Rob” Douglas Sigler, 40, of South Charleston, WV., unexpectedly departed this life Friday, April 10, 2026, while working in Marysville, OH. He was born July 11, 1985, in Athens, OH. A son of Mike Sigler (deceased) and Dreama Sigler; and Kathy (Vasko) Hake and Hans Hake.
Rob was an equipment operator for AB Contracting for 17 years and was a master of all trades there. AB was a second family to Rob and was loved by all. He loved Ohio State and Cleveland Browns football, golfing, and F-1 racing. Rob was also a bourbon connoisseur and enjoyed his regular trips to the Bourbon Trail with his wife and in-laws. One of his favorite things in life was being an uncle to his many nieces and nephews.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Emily (Evans) Sigler; sister, Sarah
Mayle (Bryan); brothers, Brandon Bell (Tiffany), Justin Bell (Ashley), Joshua Hake (Marissa),
Joshua Hall, Marcus “Donkey” Hall and Aaron Hake; Father and Mother-in-Law, George and Judy Evans; beloved pets, Ruby, Frankie, and Peggy; as well as a host of other beloved family and friends. Preceding him in death are beloved pets, Miri, Fred, and Ginger.
Cremation has been observed and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
